Location

Strathconon is a quiet and secluded glen west of Conon Bridge.

Ground floor Large entrance porch, inner hall, sitting room/bedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom, dining room, kitchen, rear hall, Cloakroom.

First Floor Landing, 2 bedrooms and main bathroom. Note that the first-floor bedrooms have sloping ceilings with limited heights.

The Grounds A short driveway leads off the road to a gravelled area for parking. The garden is L-shaped, with a paved area in front of the cottage for sitting out. The cottage faces south looking over the river to the hills beyond. On the east side the garden slopes steeply down to the Smiddy Burn which runs of the hill to the north and flows into the river

What you can do

Strathconon is an excellent base for touring the north-west Highlands, At the end of the glen there is a network of main routes leading in all directions - north to Caithness, Sutherland and Wester Ross and south to Inverness, Lock Ness and the Great Glen. East of Inverness is the rolling countryside and farmland of Nairn and Forres.

The Black Isle, Urqhuhart Castle, Fort George, Dunrobin Castle and other historic sites are all within easy reach

Strathconon itself provides good hillwalking, fishing and stalking.
